We are the premier MHMR housing organization catering to the special needs of people diagnosed with mental health, mental retardation, mental illness and other developmental and behavioral health related issues. Our MHMR group homes and other special needs and disabled group homes have allowed us to become the most highly regarded MHMR housing organization in the local area. We are committed to providing a caring and compassionate environment for all our special needs clients.

We have other residential care homes that are particularly designed and set up for individuals with particular needs. Some of those needs are:

3 | Disabled Veteran and Returning Veteran Housing
We have homes that are specifically set up for Veterans. Our veteran and VA housing provides residential care homes and group homes for both disabled and non disabled Veterans.
We work directly with the VA and all affiliations of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines to ensure that our servicemen are provided with quality and safe housing upon return home. We provide group home and transitional living residential care homes for Veterans of the armed forces throughout the local area.

We also provides housing for the elderly and seniors without any disabilities! Many seniors
these days are elder, on fixed incomes and in need of low-income and low-cost housing in a group home living environment. That is where we can assist. We have many properties that are specifically designed and managed for elders and seniors on fixed incomes.

5 | Sober Homes and Group Sober Homes
Our organization provides and operates sober homes for those with addiction and alcohol and drug related problems. We have many properties that are specifically designed and managed for those with dependency related issues such as alcohol and drugs. These homes maintain a drug and alcohol free environment similar to all our other homes, but also come with mandatory AA classes as well as alcohol and drug counseling.

6 | Empowering Our Tenants Through Financial Support
At Strong Sisters Survive It All, we are committed to not only providing safe and affordable housing but also empowering our tenants with the financial resources they to thrive. We actively assist our residents in securing various forms of financial support including:
✅ Grants - We connect tenants with available grant opportunities that can help cover essential needs like rent, utilities, and personal expenses. We have helped tenants $500,000 in grants.
✅ Rent Assistance Programs - Our team provides guidance on applying for local, state and federal rent assistance programs to ensure tenants maintain stable housing. We hav helped our clients obtain $725,000 of in rental assistance.
✅ Michigan Homestead Property Tax Credit - For eligible residents, we offer support in filing for the Michigan Homestead Property Tax Credit. We have helped hundreds of our clients obtain $5,000 to $7,500 through this program. So far, we have helped our clients obtain $2.5 million from this program.
By providing these resources, we aim to reduce financial stress and create a stable foundation where our tenants can focus on their well-being, growth, and long-term success.
